In 2004 YONGLI Europe B.V. was founded by Shanghai YONGLI Belting Co. Ltd. and the two Dutch owners Aris Wind and Remko van Hove.

Thanks to the enthusiasm, persuasiveness and passion of the two Dutch owners, and the limitless support from the headquarters in Shanghai, the customer base quickly expanded throughout the entire European continent. Nowadays YONGLI Europe has become a dynamic and continuously growing organization with a large stock of conveyor belts and even its own production site for synthetic conveyor belts.

Established in Oudkarspel, the Netherlands, YONGLI Europe acts as the regional headquarter for Europe, South America and South Africa and supplies to European YONGLI branch companies as well as independent belting companies.

In 2010, YONGLI Research & Development (R&D) was set up in the Netherlands as the first overseas production facility of the global YONGLI belting group. The site accommodates:

• Production lines for synthetic conveyor belts
• A small coating line for special top cover embossing
• A laboratory involved in product compliance testing and new material research.

Thanks to the local production facility YONGLI can quickly respond to local demands and opportunities. Furthermore, by close collaborations with our branches and their OEM customers, products can be especially designed to suit their purpose, taking into account all customer specific requirements.

The production site was expanded in 2021 to meet the increasing demand for YONGLI conveyor belts in Europe.
