Slide strip

To limit friction and prevent sticking/suction of the plastic conveyor and process belt underside, the conveyor can be fitted with YONGLI self-adhesive slide strips. These HMPE slide strips have a self-adhesive layer with endpaper and are supplied per roll of 30,000x25x2mm (lxwxd) in the color natural. HMPE or High Molecular Weight Polyethylene, UHMWPE is the wear-resistant relative of PE or Polyethylene.

Properties:

• High wear resistance, especially against abrasive and cutting action;
• Smooth surface and therefore a low coefficient of friction;
• Lightweight;
• Does not absorb moisture;
• Resistant to most chemicals;
• Easy to apply, even on existing conveyors;
• Low maintenance.
