LOCATION: Negotiable based on assigned business territory

BUSINESS TERRITORY: Depends on your location, Mid-West, North East, Central, South East, West Coast 



The Territory Distribution Sales Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing business to business sales of products and technologies to companies within their sales territory. The individual in this role will increase YONGLI America sales volume through a variety of account activities, exceptional customer support and the utilization of technical knowledge.


  1. 5 years of successful sales experience in belting industry or industrial components sales towards distribution network.
  2. Bachelor’s degree or directly related work experience
  3. Proven professional selling ability and strong negotiating capabilities.
  4. Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats, including sales and training presentations.
  5. Outstanding time management, problem solving, project management, and organizational skills.
  6. Analytical skills to analyze data and develop sales plan.
  7. Proficient use of Microsoft Office products and business math skills
  8. Demonstrates interpersonal skills necessary to deal tactfully and effectively with variety of people.
  9. Is capable of relating to people of diverse age, ethnicity, racial, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds in a collaborative and effective manner. 
  10. Capable of managing a variety of stakeholder relationships
  11. A valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record


  1. Manage an assigned territory to ensure effective, efficient and economical use of available time and company assets to achieve sales objectives
  2. Interacts with YONGLI America customers/prospects for the purpose of marketing and selling, evaluating performance and strength, delivery of customer product training, negotiating agreements, supporting customer product integration, and sales planning and forecasting.
  3. Maintain and continue to strengthen relationships with existing customers through sales support, training, and maximizing the value that customers enjoy from their relationship with YONGLI AMERICA.
  4. Research markets, determine primary decision makers and make sales presentations to current and prospective customers.
  5. Develop relationships and consistently gain business with prospective customers through repetitive contact via on the road travel and by communicating the value of our services
  6. Act as a liaison between customer and YONGLI Belting for successful resolution on any product issues.
  7. Develop new business with current customers by gaining share from competitive products utilizing marketing materials.
  8. Maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and provide reports as required
  9. Effectively and efficiently manage a multi-state territory which requires travel up to 75% including overnight travel, effectively using organizational and time management skills.
  10. Maintain accurate account records as directed.
  11. Communicate through National Distribution Sales Manager on any issues, problems, opportunities, and successes.
  12. Attend tradeshows to provide sales support, generate leads, evaluate sales activities, strategies and strengths of the competition, identify new market and customer opportunities, and evaluate the success and perception of Yongli products.
  13. Compare monthly sales results to goals and take corrective action where necessary with countermeasures.
  14. Provide sales input for annual strategic planning process.
  15. Interface with Product Management to provide customer feedback on product performance.
  16. Provide input on advertising, literature and promotion materials.
  17. Interface with QA regarding any observed or reported quality/safety issues.

Prepared to work outside normal working hours if required with 50%-75% travel required, may require international travel for training purpose as well. This position works in a standard office environment when making calls on the telephone or working with clients involving sitting for long periods, walking at will possibly through factories, lifting/carrying objects weighing less than 25 pounds, bending and reaching, close vision, hearing sounds/communication, speaking clearly and handling/grasping/fingering objects, and keyboarding.
